The school
A Just, Committed, Scientific and Entrepreneurial Community: this is how we sum up our educational project.
Mission
Colegio Miguel Ángel Asturias is a private institution for preschool, primary and secondary levels. Its mission is to provide and guide the comprehensive education of its students, enabling the development of their potential so that they become autonomous, supportive, competitive, investigative people, open to change and useful to society.
Vision
The school directs its actions toward a quality education based on the advancement of science, technology and the entrepreneurial spirit, the use of English as a second language, and the internalization of values that allow students to build a pluralistic, just, humane society, committed to and respectful of human rights.
Our philosophy
We see every person as a unique, autonomous and free being, open to history, society and culture, who develops physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
That is why the school pursues excellence in human and professional quality, educating people who can transform their immediate surroundings.
The educational project
Our PEI, “A Just, Committed, Scientific and Entrepreneurial Community”, understands education as a social right and duty, built with the participation of the whole community.
Five institutional values
Justice
Ethics, fairness and honesty. Expressed in honesty and respect.
Commitment
Responsibility, punctuality and perseverance in the pursuit of quality results.
Research
Curiosity and problem solving, with tolerance, innovation and environmental awareness.
Entrepreneurship
